This exhibition features a vibrant collection of artworks by artists from Arts@Metta, an initiative by Metta Welfare Association that empowers Metta School alumni youth with special needs through vocational training in the visual arts. Guided by its vision to nurture individuals into contributing members of society and its mission to provide accessible platforms for creative growth and sustainable livelihoods, Arts@Metta supports aspiring artists in developing their talents and expressing their unique perspectives.

Spanning diverse mediums and styles, the exhibition reflects the artists’ personal journeys, resilience, and aspirations. Each piece is a heartfelt invitation to experience the world through their eyes — vibrant, inclusive, and full of possibility. Through this showcase, Arts@Metta celebrates the transformative power of art in enabling lives and fostering a more compassionate and inclusive society.

Curated by the Diploma of Tourism & Resort Management students in Ngee Ann Polytechnic and in collaboration with Ascott and Ludus Lab, join this fun and wheelchair – friendly tour showcasing the area’s cultural landmarks and inclusive routes, starting from lyf Bugis Singapore, where you’ll also explore its inclusive facilities. 1. Quiet Morning by Gardens by the Bay’s Gift of Gardens Initiative

Gardens by the Bay continues its efforts to create spaces where everyone feels welcome through Quiet Morning, a sensory friendly programme in the conservatories for persons with autism and their families.

Held regularly before public opening hours as part of the Gardens’ inclusive initiatives, Quiet Morning offers a calm and comfortable environment for exploration and connection. Background music and announcements are kept to a minimum, allowing participants to enjoy the beauty of the conservatories at their own pace and in a peaceful atmosphere. Participation is strictly by pre-registration, and walk-ins will not be accepted.

As part of the Enabling Lives Festival 2025, Quiet Morning will open a limited number of slots to members of the public on 6 December 2025. Interested visitors may click the link below to register for this special session.

The Enabling Village Community Mural project, initiated by SG Enable and facilitated by Thirtytwocm, commemorates Enabling Village’s 10th Anniversary and SG60. This placemaking initiative reflects EV’s commitment to promoting inclusion and fostering a strong sense of community.

Co-created with diverse stakeholders, the mural — titled “Garden of Possibilities” — embodies a shared vision for building a more inclusive Singapore. The project has engaged over 500 community members, including persons with disabilities, caregivers, SG Enable staff, EV tenants, students, and residents from the surrounding neighbourhood.

Visit the mural to experience this inspiring artwork firsthand, take selfies, and hear from community members about their co-creation journey and insights.

The Enabling Village extends further than just a community space – it is a testament to Singapore’s commitment to integrating and empowering persons with disabilities.

This 1.5-hour tour by Ludus Lab will take you through the transformative journey of the Enabling Village over the last decade. You will also get behind-the-scenes access and anecdotal sharings by some of the partners at the Enabling Village.

Explore the Enabling Village and discover the principles of universal design, embracing the diverse needs of individuals with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities, and autism. Witness the many ‘firsts’ that make the Enabling Village a pioneering example of an inclusive community!

In complete darkness, visitors are guided by a blind host through everyday environments, challenging them to rely on non-visual senses. From parks to busy streets, the experience fosters empathy and a deeper appreciation for sight. This role reversal reveals a world that’s equally rich, just experienced differently.
