The Enabling Lives Festival is back! From 1 to 4 December, join us in celebrating inclusion and abilities.

On 1 December, we celebrate the recipients of the Goh Chok Tong Enable Awards.

From 2 to 4 December, take part in fun programmes and activities happening around Bukit Merah organised by SG Enable with its partners at Enabling Village, TOUCH Community Services and ART:DIS.

Goh Chok Tong Enable Awards Ceremony 2022

The Goh Chok Tong Enable Awards (GCTEA), which recognises the achievements and promise of exceptional persons with disabilities, will be holding its awards ceremony at the Istana with President Halimah Yacob as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony will also be attended by Special Guest Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong, the Patron of Mediacorp Enable Fund.

GCTEA has honoured a total of 42 Awardees for their outstanding accomplishments and potential over its three editions to date.

Inclusive Workshops By TOUCH Community Services

Day 2 of the Enabling Lives Festival sees TOUCH Community Services taking the lead to draw the community – people with disabilities and the able-bodied – together.

Come for workshops facilitated by those with intellectual disabilities as well as a deaf trainer. Enter their world, interact with them and understand that abilities transcend physical impairments.

Enabling Village Open House and Celebration

Held at Enabling Village, Day 3 is the highlight of the Enabling Lives Festival.

Planned for the day are celebrations that showcase the talents and capabilities of persons with disabilities, and inspire those in the community to build a more inclusive society. There will be an open house of Enabling Village conducted by SG Enable’s iChamps (inclusion champions).

Shop at the i’mable Gift Market where handiwork by artists with disabilities will be on sale or tour an art exhibition featuring art impressions of Enabling Village by artists with disabilities. Artisans with disabilities will also co-facilitate workshops.

ART:DIS Open House

Spend the day with artists with disabilities at the various ART:DIS activities. ART:DIS is a leading charity dedicated to creating learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities in the arts.

A carefully curated selection of inclusive arts activities will feature inclusive participatory sessions with dance and music, workshop led by artists with disabilities as well as Christmas-themed fun such as a Christmas Bazaar and carolling performances.
