The Enabling Lives Festival is a signature event organised by SG Enable to rally stakeholders, corporates, philanthropies and the community, to come together to celebrate the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Themed ‘Celebrating Inclusion and Abilities’, the Festival anchors on three programme pillars – Celebrate, Collaborate, Champion, reflecting SG Enable’s long-term commitment to strengthen the social fabric of or community across all abilities and to make Singapore a more inclusive place to live and work in.
SG Enable, the focal agency for disability and inclusion in Singapore, enables persons with disabilities to live, learn, work and play in an inclusive society. We create equitable opportunities for persons with disabilities through thought leadership, sustainable social innovation and impactful partnership. Guided by our core values of professionalism, innovation and empathy, we envision a more inclusive Singapore and enabled lives. Set up by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in 2013, we are a registered charity and an Institution of a Public Character.
i’mable (read “I’m able”) by SG Enable celebrates the abilities of persons with disabilities and encourages everyone to take positive action for disability inclusion and commit to building a more inclusive society and enabling lives. i’mable is a declaration of willingness, confidence and ability to make a difference in disability inclusion. Enabling Village by SG Enable is Singapore’s first inclusive community space that brings together amenities, services, lifelong learning and employment opportunities to support persons with disabilities and their caregivers. Recognised for its universal design and social impact, it stands as a model of inclusion — showing how accessibility, social innovation, and partnerships can come together to build dreams and enable lives.
Enabling Village is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, alongside the Enabling Lives Festival in December 2025.
