Discover the Wonders of Gardens by the Bay

1. Quiet Morning by Gardens by the Bay’s Gift of Gardens Initiative

Gardens by the Bay continues its efforts to create spaces where everyone feels welcome through Quiet Morning, a sensory friendly programme in the conservatories for persons with autism and their families.

Held regularly before public opening hours as part of the Gardens’ inclusive initiatives, Quiet Morning offers a calm and comfortable environment for exploration and connection. Background music and announcements are kept to a minimum, allowing participants to enjoy the beauty of the conservatories at their own pace and in a peaceful atmosphere. Participation is strictly by pre-registration, and walk-ins will not be accepted.

As part of the Enabling Lives Festival 2025, Quiet Morning will open a limited number of slots to members of the public on 6 December 2025. Interested visitors may click the link below to register for this special session.

Registration closes on Monday 24 Nov 2025, or earlier if capacity is reached. Terms and conditions apply.

2. VI Sensory Tour by Gardens by the Bay’s Gift of Gardens Initiative

As part of Gardens by the Bay’s Gift of Gardens community initiative, the VI Sensory Tour, specially designed for visitors with visual impairment, is now extended to the Cloud Forest. This initiative reimagines accessibility through the use of 3D printed models designed and produced in collaboration with Metta Welfare Association.

Developed to enable visitors with visual impairment to experience the beauty and complexity of the Cloud Forest through touch, sound and scent, the tour shows how technology and nature can come together to create meaningful connections.

This edition of the tour is arranged for visitors with visual impairment from selected partner Social Service Agencies (SSAs) that serve the blind community and is by invitation only.

Registration has been closed for this event.

3. Drop-in Craft Activities

Visitors are invited to join the heart-warming drop-in art sessions led by talented students from Metta School.

Through these interactive workshops, the students showcase their creativity and craftsmanship while engaging the public in hands-on art-making.

4. Performance by Metta School’s Talented Students

Adding to the festive spirit, one of Metta School’s talented students will take the lead in a heartwarming sing-along session, spreading Christmas cheer through music and song. Visitors are invited to join in as the student leads familiar holiday tunes, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere for all. This simple yet meaningful moment celebrates the students’ confidence and talent while reminding everyone of the season’s true spirit — togetherness, joy, and giving
