Art Jamming With Cats
Combining two well-loved interests of a Cat Cafe concept with Art Jam, Wildflower Studio has merged the best of both worlds resulting in a fun and unique experience purrfect for all ages – children to elderly! For the Enabling Lives Festival, Wildflower Studio will host three exciting workshops: Chill and Paint in Monochrome, Santa’s Workshop – Nutcracker Series, and Semi Guided Art Jam with Cats.
Chill and Paint in Monochrome:
This unique painting experience invites you to create with intuition and spontaneity. Wearing sunglasses that obscure the colours, you’ll paint without seeing your palette, adding an element of surprise.
When your sunglasses come off, a one-of-a-kind artwork, created from the mystery of colour, will reflect your creative spirit and imagination.
What it includes:
- Cat circle time: Where cats are introduced with stories while participants feed them treats.
- Art jam in monochrome (unguided): Choose from a variety of surfaces for your painting, including tote bags, canvas, nesting dolls, and wood boards.
Join us and leave with a colourful masterpiece that captures your artistic expression and the thrill of the unexpected!
Santa’s Workshop – Nutcracker Series:
Celebrate the joy of Christmas together with our feline friends! Paint and embellish a nutcracker (18cm). The workshop includes all materials and cat interactions.
Semi Guided Art Jam with Cats:
Hang out and paint with rescue cats in our cosy studio.
What it includes:
- Cat circle time: Where cats are introduced with stories while participants feed them treats.
- Painting surfaces: Choose from a variety of surfaces for your painting, including tote bags, canvas, nesting dolls, and wood boards.
- Art jamming: Enjoy painting with guidance while the cats roam freely.
- Lunch service for cats: Participants will serve meals to our furry friends.
- Cat photoshoot: Capture fun memories with a photoshoot featuring our feline “meowdels.”
Wildflower Studio works with cat rescue groups and proceeds from their business also funds their cat fostering & socialisation programmes as well as their feline assisted programmes that support persons in recovery.
