
Sowing the Seeds: Wild Flowers
“Sowing the Seeds: Wild Flowers” is a production by Maya Dance Theatre and its Diverse Abilities Dance Collective (DADC). Inspired by the resilience of wild flowers that flourish in the harshest environments, this production explores the balance between fragility and strength in both nature and humanity.
This performance highlights the dedication and courage of persons with disabilities as they express themselves through dance, breaking stereotypes and redifining the role of a dancer.
Wild Flowers, directed by Kavitha Krishnan and choreographed by Ewan, celebrates the beauty of diversity, the power of growth and the transformative impact of the arts. Through their incredible talent, the dancers embody unity, empowerment and self-expression, challenging societal norms and showcasing the boundless potential of the human spirit.
